So the first day of school came really fast for me! The kids were SO excited !! From getting breakfast, filling water bottles and making lunches...
And of course, doing hair...

ON TIME!! Poor Weston... 
He just cried and cried when all the kids left for school. I wanted to drive them but Ruthie insisted that Daddy drive. I have to say the house is TOO QUIET, and while I know it won't last long with #5 on his way... I miss my kids and am praying they have an awesome day! 3:00 can't come soon enough today!

Looks like everyone was ready to go this morning! I saw Ruthie at the playground today. I had to run in and hand in a check for the cafeteria. Minor detail I forgot??
I love doing the first day of school pictures! Everyone is so shiny and organized! It would be fun to do a first day of school picture and compare it to a middle of the year and end of year picture. What a contrast that would be!! LOL!

The kids look so cute and excited to go. Enjoy the quiet while you can it won't last forever and then you will wish you had some back.

I do love the first day of school pictures, they are so fun. I can't wait to put my kids first day and birthday pictures in a progressional video when they get older.
This is the first year I was ready for school to start, it just seemed like it was time. My kids agreed. It doesn't mean I didn't think about them during the day, though. It's funny Greg took the two older boys to school and as I watched them drive off I broke down in tears, I was happy but sad all at the same time.
We have to enjoy these days because they grown up so fast :)

So glad to see the first day of school started good. I know how you are with having your kids gone and I think it is great...I am sure they got lots of loving when they got home. Hope they enjoy this year and Weston can pal around with the baby down the road.
Hi Amy, I'm so glad Ruthie and Maya are in the same class, that's so fun. Ruthie is adorable (all your kids are). Good luck with the new baby on the way, I didn't know you were having another one. How exciting!
