So Blake had his 4 month well check and is off the charts!!! 4 MONTHS...19.3 lbs and 27 inches long...110th%...seriously, Landon put him in 18month jammies last night. Where did my baby go? He's huge. He has outgrown the infant carrier, the bouncy seat lays almost to the floor and he's just about too heavy for the swing! Since he's not sitting up yet I don't know what I'll do about the grocery store (not to mention my BACK aches all the time and now I know why!) We are so thankful he is healthy and happy (not so much about being the size of a 10 month old) - but, grateful he is such a joy and such a great baby. Blake makes us all smile and loves to watch what everyone is doing at all times. In fact if it's too quiet he can't sleep because he's used to noise all the time :)

Oh My Goodness! Landon- this is Wendy Bond. I was looking at Tiffany McCleve (Check)'s blog and saw "Varney" in one of the comments. I don't know a lot of Varney's so I clicked on it and sure enough- it is your blog. How are you? After looking at your blog it looks like you guys are doing great! Your kids are adorable. Of course being a Varney it has to be mostly boys. hahaha. (not that I can talk, we had one girl then three boys.)What a small world. I am not sure how you know Tiffany, but I know her from years ago when we were in dance together. We danced at the same studio for years. How funny! I hope you guys are happy. So cute, he looks like a Varney. I love a big giant happy baby, of course my boys were all enormous too, so it's the only thing I can relate too and I feel your pain. (both the emotional pain, missing your "baby" and your physical pain too!)

My brother was 26.5 lbs at 5 months. Then he didn't gain any weight for 2 years. Doctors told my mom he would need plastic surgery to remove stretched out skin, but the chins went away and all was well. He's the skinniest adult in the family, now.
So, you never know. Maybe your baby will end up tiny, pipsqueak kid, but does seem unlikely, eh?
He really is such a doll! Maybe it is the name. My Blake was really big too! He grew out of it though so I am sure your Blake will too! I love chubby smiley babies like him!

I had Weston simmering down Sunday but your sweet hubby kept creeping in. He CAN handle it - I promise. A couple weeks of crying and he is good! Try it, I am there if ya want to!
He is so darn cute!! Big is OK! He'll be all grown up before you know it. Enjoy him while he is young even if he isn't very little!
I have to say that Blake is the best baby we've had and while I hope he won't grow up too fast... I love our chunky 'little' man!
He is a BIG boy! You will suffer from a sore elbow carrying the car seat around!
